The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government has a chance for a fitly qualified and competent individual to supply body support services for the Chief Directorate: individuals Management Practices. This post relies on in Cape Town.

Minimum necessities

Senior Certificate (Grade twelve or equivalent qualification).

Recommendation

Appropriate operating expertise; operating information and applicable experience within the following: supply data system (LOGS) or similar; Basic accounting (BAS) or similar.


Key Performance Areas

Handle provisioning and procedural of products and services: travel, accommodation, ability assessment arrangements, request quotations for merchandise and/or services; Complete procedural documents; Capture requisitions on LOGS; Follow-up orders for merchandise and/or services; Prepare and follow-up procedural documents for payment; Complete BAS payment forms for sundry payments; Render general body support, i.e. chargeable for supply line arrangements and venue hire; Drafting submissions, memorandums, letters and general correspondence; Perform contract administration; make sure that the monetary resources and assets ar used effectively and economically; Processes all invoices for payment and claim backs; The process of S & T Claims and BAS Payments (cell phone/parking/legal fees); Facilitate the payment of phone bills and also the distribution of payslips to staff; Coordinate accommodation/ maintenance requirements; Assist with the issue of fund and capturing info onto the fund management register; Assist with stock and letter paper out of the storeroom; Assist with the dominant stock levels within the storeroom; offer support service as secretariat at the Quotation, Specifications and analysis committee conferences of the Chief Directorate; Assist with the budget administration; Update and capture expenditure and revenue info on stand out spreadsheets; In-year observation of budget.



Competencies

Knowledge and understanding of the following: workplace administration; Basic accounting (BAS), LOGS procedural system; Contract administration, coming up with and organizational skills; downside determination, co-ordination and prioritizing; established pc acquisition in mistreatment MS workplace package (Word, Excel, Power-point, Outlook); Communication (written and verbal) skills.


Remuneration

R 176 310 each year (Salary level 5)


Note on remuneration: Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages surely occupation specific dispensations (OSD), the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions AR inclusive of all prices associated with service advantages or obligations as well as basic earnings, thirteenth check, medical help, housing help, pension-fund contributions, etc. MMS remuneration packages AR versatile and will be separately structured as prescribed.
